    • Concerned with overbuilding energy infrastructure to accommodate data center needs - “I’m sure the power companies around the state are doing a lot of pre-planning to make sure that we don’t overextend ourselves, to make sure that the fit is just right.” 

    • Said it's important to balance the needs of customers with needs of GA powers Integrated Resource Plan. 

    • Voted to freeze base price hikes from GA power for at least the next 3 years. Supports GA power and major power customers (data centers etc.) need to cover most of their own costs.

    • Served on KSU board of Trustees, Commissioner of State Charter Schools Commission, member of local chamber of commerce. 

    • Chairs the national Task Force on Natural Gas Resource Planning under theNational Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners

    • Blames a lot of the utility hikes on inflation. Hopes the presence of the Trump administration will alleviate it.
